Who we are
New Life Church is a community church at 10582 Old Oregon Trail, Redding, California 96003. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website, nlcredding.org.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you fill out the connect card on our I'm New page, we collect the name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and message you type in. Only your name and email address are required. Everything else is optional.
Information collected automatically
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which typically record the IP address, browser, and pages requested by visitors. When a connect card is submitted, the sender's IP address is included in the email we receive, which helps us identify spam.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics, advertising, or visitor-tracking service on this site.
How we use your information
- To reply to you and answer your questions
- To follow up about a visit, a ministry, or a prayer request you asked about
- To keep our own records of who has contacted the church
We will not add you to a mailing list without your say-so, and we will not contact you about anything unrelated to what you reached out about.
How your information is handled
Connect card submissions are emailed directly to the church office. They are not saved in a database on this website. Your information stays with the church staff and ministry leaders who need it in order to respond.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing of any kind.
We may disclose information if we are required to by law, or if it is necessary to protect someone's safety.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not use tracking pixels or similar technology. Two Google services are embedded in the site, and they operate under Google's own privacy policy:
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used across the site. Loading them sends your IP address to Google. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
- Google Maps is embedded on the I'm New page to show our location. Google may set cookies in your browser when that map loads, and may collect information about your use of it. This is the only part of our site that sets cookies.
You can read how Google handles this at policies.google.com/privacy. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just call or email the church office using the details below and we will take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
